Tips to reduce vibration in daily work

• To avoid the dangers of HAVS, ensure you and your colleagues are properly trained on the use of power tools.
• Try not to grip the handles too tightly and wear gloves to maintain good circulation.
• It is advisable to take regular breaks and to rotate work with other colleagues on a lengthy task.
• Try not to smoke as smoking affects the circulation and potential sensitivity to HAVS.
• Use power tools equipped with Anti-Vibration technology, which generate far less vibration levels.
